I started CozyroomFix to help renters and first-time homeowners make the rooms they already have feel warm, calm and theirs — without a designer’s budget.
Over the last [X] years I’ve decorated four rented flats and one small terrace house in London. None of them had good light, enough storage or a landlord who liked paint. Everything on this site is something I’ve tried, measured or regretted in a real room.
Most decor advice shows you a finished room and leaves you to guess. I’d rather explain the decisions underneath it — the bulb temperature, the rug size, the three lamps instead of one — so you can use them at home.

I’m not an interior designer and I don’t pretend to be. What I do have is years of trial and error in small, awkward, rented spaces — and a habit of writing down what worked.
